Sculpture

While I was out walking but should have been working, I found this sculpture.  Never noticed it before, right in front of an apartment building on the 300 block of Grand Avenue in St. Paul.  I like it very much  but wonder what the little girl and the man in uniform are talking about.

There are many wood sculptures in St. Paul on boulevards and in yards.   Most were made from the stumps of trees that had to be taken down.  I guess a sculpture looks better than a tree stump.

We have a number of sculptures similar to this one around town. I like the placement of this one.

I have admired the sculpture before. It really makes me curious to the the story behing the characters.
