These two books are my favorites. I have read each at least twice and I use them on a regular basis. They are fun to read and full of ideas and information.
Digital photography books 1 and 2 by Scott Kelby
Since I wrote this Kelby has come out with a third book for this series, Digital Photography 3. It has a lot of information about lenses in it and more about lighting and is packed with useful information.

Another Photo Blog
I started a blog a few years ago and have written thousands of words, and taken thousands of pictures to go with those words. If I could start all over again the blog would be just pictures because each picture is worth a thousand words and I don't have to worry about spelling them correctly.
