We need to start getting ready for a cold and snowy winter at least according to the folk at Farmer’s almanac. As you can probably tell it was below zero when I took this photo.
The footbridge that the people are standing on is on Raspberry Island on the Mississippi River across the river from downtown St. Paul. Winter is beautiful . . . once the temperature gets above zero . .
Winter makes it all look so peaceful.
The Mississippi River doesn’t freeze solid. It does look pretty in the winter with some snow on it.
Today is the last day of Fall or the first day of winter or something like that. Here in the northland the days are very short. It is a great time of year to take photos of city lights. I hope to get out and do just that for the next few nights. I think I took this picture at like 4 in the afternoon. 🙂
