There are so many pictures to look at when I look at the historic Blair Arcade building on Selby and Western.
If I can I like to show a little of what is outside when I photograph condos. This building used to be a shoe factory. With these conversions in particular windows and what is on the other side of them is very important. This one was a lot of fun because the colors in the unit kind of matched the color pallet outside the window.
The person who works in this downtown office doesn’t get to spend time looking out the window. This would be pretty at night too with the cathedral in the background
I took some photos of a home for sale last week. The challenge was to show the view inside and out. I used a wide angle lens and took three bracketed shots and combined them into one and did little tone mapping. It might seem like a lot of work but it was worth it. The snow itself presents som challenges. The colors in this photo seem about right for the room but the snow is blueish and when I change white balance I wreck the shot.
