Robert Street Bridge

I started my bike ride down a Plato blvd the other evening.  I rode down to the river and then along the paths to Raspberry Island.  I circled the Island and then went on to Harriet Island and circled that and then onto Lilydale regional park and Pickerel lake.   Not a very long ride but it took awhile because I may have stopped for some pictures along the way.

St. Paul Minnesota

The red “1″ blinks on and off.  It is wrong to take a picture at night with the light off.  I have taken a few but I would never post them.

Harriet Island

It was a perfect night for outdoor photography.  The park was almost deserted and there wasn’t much of a breeze.

Downtown St. Paul

When I wanted to learn how to take photos at night I went down to Harriet Island and tool pictures of downtown.  I like to take this shot once a year.  It is better when all the lights are on downtown but I can only do that in the winter when the river isn’t nearly as pretty.   I have to have the red one in the picture and it blinks on and off so I have to wait for it. :)  Have a happy Saint Patricks day.

She won’t drink out of a bowl just from the faucet and when I turn on a faucet she comes running.  BAD KITTY!

Lake Superior

Pictures like these should always be taken with in an hour of sunset or sunrise but I have learned to take them when I can and to make the most out of the light that I have.  It was windy when I took this one and the lake was gorgeous that day.

I think rust and buildings photograph better when it is cloudy which is a good think because it was cloudy most of the time over the Memorial day weekend.
