<p>I started my bike ride down a Plato blvd the other evening.  I rode down to the river and then along the paths to Raspberry Island.  I circled the Island and then went on to Harriet Island and circled that and then onto Lilydale regional park and Pickerel lake.   Not a very long ride but it took awhile because I may have stopped for some pictures along the way.</p>

<p>When I wanted to learn how to take photos at night I went down to Harriet Island and tool pictures of downtown.  I like to take this shot once a year.  It is better when all the lights are on downtown but I can only do that in the winter when the river isn&#8217;t nearly as pretty.   I have to have the red one in the picture and it blinks on and off so I have to wait for it. <img src='http://stpaulphotos.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />   Have a happy Saint Patricks day.</p>

<p>Pictures like these should always be taken with in an hour of sunset or sunrise but I have learned to take them when I can and to make the most out of the light that I have.  It was windy when I took this one and the lake was gorgeous that day.</p>
