<p>Twin Cities Parks are rarely empty even in the winter.  I used an app called &#8220;snapseed&#8221; to process this shot which I took with my handy dandy panasonic point and shoot type camera.   I love the old oak trees in the parks and yes I know I have said that before.  This is the last day of January and we have not had much winter this year.  There are a few inches of snow on the ground.  I think this is mother natures way of apologizing for the abuse she heaped upon us last year.</p>

<p>I took this photo last year.  We had such a brutal winter and there was so much damage.  This isn&#8217;t my house but we had ice dams like this and our roof was damaged.  Not much snow this year so far and the snow on the roof already melted.  It will be below freezing today but temperatures are above average.</p>
