Photographing neon signs is always fun but challenging too as the picture has both light and dark in it.
The signs on the bike paths have a lot of character. Last night I biked for miles on pristine bike paths that were closed for some unknown reason.
The trail starts up in Lake Itasca state park where the Mississippi River starts and follows the river to New Orleans.

Orange is used a lot for safety yet it isn’t a save color it is a warning color. This is my last day of orange. It was fun and now I see orange every where.
This one was taken with that 50mm lens of mine that I love so much. I am finding that for black and white photos with my digital camera it is best to either shoot them in the RAW format or if shooting in JPEG to change the cameras settings to black and white. This sign just wants to be black and white.
