Another fine piece of urban hardware.  No plastic on it and some rust.

Bike Rack

I used my trusty little panasonic point and shoot camera to take the picture and then I tweaked it a but on my iPad.  It is about the rust that is what caught my eye when I drove by.   I bought a new camera last week.  I am pretty excited about it but between working with real estate clients and photography clients I have not gotten to play with it much.

Art Park

This is the side of Hinding Heating on West 7th street in St. Paul.  I had to grab a shot because bricks and rust are two of my favorite subjects and as you can see we have a little snow now.

Backhoe

I would like to thank the person that left this wonderful backhoe sitting on the hill.  After a long day of photographing buildings this was a welcome site with a little rust on it and some dirt and . . SWEET!

Rusty and Blue

Another photograph from last weekends adventure at Hot Sam’s Antiques.  Makes me want to go out and find more rusty stuff to shoot.

Haight Ashbury

Taken at Hot Sam’s antiques near Lakeville Minnesota.  They did a little staging with this old van. On the other side of it there is a table and some chairs.  I have been to Haight and Ashbury I think it was the 25th anniversary of the summer of love.

E. 4th street rails

These were just put in the street last week and they already look rusty. It is exciting to see the transformation on 4th street downtown.

Recycle Bottles & Cans

St. Paul is a clean city but you can not go ten feet with out seeing a trash or recycling container of some sort.  Some of the containers are bright blue and others blend in but they have bright yellow plastic liners in them.  These containers kind of blend in.  They are rusty and full or holes.
