Pot hole

One of the larger pot holes at Taylors falls.  A great place to go on a fall weekend.  Close to the Twin Cities.

Rocks and trees

The weather was beautiful yesterday so we went to Taylors Falls and spent some time climbing rocks. . . and I may have taken a few photos.

Two Harbors Light House

This light house has been shot so many times that I think it has faded.  I couldn’t resist taking a few shots but I decided to try a new angle.  It is a working light house by that I mean the light is lit.  It is now a B&B and I have stayed there.  I give it five stars.

Rocks

Taken near Two harbors Minnesota on the shore of lake Superior.  We went up there for a few days for a little R & R and there isn’t anything more relaxing than watching water.

Free Parking in the badlands

This is the only shot I have of the badlands that has cars in it.  There was a photography group parked there when we went to shoot.  It was kind of fun becasue we sort of joined the club.  I think the cars in the picture help show the size of the landscape.  If you ever go to the badlands be sure to bring your camera.

Harriet Island - West

The final phase of Harriet Island Regional park has been completed.  I love the building and the landscaping and plan to go back and take some more photos.

The St. Croix River

The beautiful St. Croix river near Taylor’s Falls, Minnesota.  I think the rocks on the other side of the river are Wisconsin rocks, and they may be granite.

Lake Superior

I have never seen a lake or an ocean as beautiful as Lake Superior, especially along the North Shore in the arrow head region of Minnesota.    I took this shot last summer and it doesn’t come close to capturing what I see when I look at the lake. I will go back this year and try again.

Red Rocks

Taken in Colorado. Home again but way behind on processing photos.  I fixed the sky in this.  It was cold, cloudy and rainy the day the shot was taken.
