<p>Reflections are fun to photograph.  The water was so still when I took this one that it is hard to tell where the trees end and the water begins.  A shame I wasn&#8217;t there at sunset.</p>

<p>We are just getting started.  In a week or so the river bluffs will be red and orange.  I took this last night from the bike path along the upper landing park.  I like to stop here because Herons and other birds like to hang out on the sandbar.  Last night there was a conference on the point.  I saw geese and ducks hanging out and discussing the news of the day.</p>

<p>I have not gotten to go any place exciting this summer but there are places to go that are close by and I guess that helps.  These are at Como Park where there is always something in bloom even in the winter.</p>

<p>The campuses of United and Children&#8217;s hospital, in St. Paul have really grown over the years.  It seems like there is always construction going on.  The buildings are gorgeous. I need to take more pictures of them.</p>

<p>I guess this one could be called a classic, taken from Hennepin Island Park in Minneapolis.  It is a popular place to take a photo from.  The last time I took it was at night and I have to say it looks spectacular at night.  The fall colors in this one make a nice frame.</p>

<p>This is one of those shots that everyone takes and that I mostly avoid.  The Mississippi river likes to flood the St. Paul parks but Minneapolis is North and the parks remain high and dry.  The water is a little high but it isn&#8217;t a flood.</p>
