Found on the grounds of the Science Museum of Minnesota. Always a great place for a nature walk in the city.
These plants grow like crazy in parts of northern Minnesota and are very photogenic. Spring is supposed to be here in Minnesota next week. I look forward to the many photo opps it will bring.
An artist once told me that I should not crop off the tips of flower petals. One of the things I love about photography is I can do it my way and no one can stop me.
I always associate these flowers with the month of August. it is almost August.
The flowers in the picture are considered weeds and are growing where my flower bed used to be. It is still summer and the weather should hold for at least another month. There are so many places to do and things to see . . .
The blazing prairie star flowers are blooming. it is time to go for a hike along the river or visit your nearby St. Paul park to see what is in bloom.
