<p>I have never before seen butterfly weed in any color but bright orange.  I found this along the St. Croix River North of Stillwater MN.  I have to say it is just as lovely in lavender as it is in orange.</p>

<p>I have not gotten to go any place exciting this summer but there are places to go that are close by and I guess that helps.  These are at Como Park where there is always something in bloom even in the winter.</p>

<p>I don&#8217;t think I have ever seen these flowers before. They were at the only place around St. Paul where there are flowers growing this time of year and that is the Marjorie Mcneely conservatory at Como park.  I thought it would be fun this week to mix it up and post pictures of flowers and of snow storms.</p>
