I take this picture every few years. I really miss the “1” on the first national bank building. Maybe they will turn it back on sometime soon. This shot works the best on a tripod when the river is smooth. It was taken from Harriet Island across the river from downtown.
I suppose I have taken this shot a zillion times and it does look better with clear skies and a little light left in the sky but it looks good when it is dark and cloudy as long as it is taken with the “1” on the 1st bank building let up. 🙂
I took this a few years ago in San Francisco. I love to travel and am traveling this week. When I get back home I sure hope I have photos to share.
This is a busy time of year in St. Paul. The high school hockey tournament and the basket ball tournament and other sports. Makes me wonder when they have time to study. Today we have state high school wrestling and tomorrow there is a Minnesota Wild game.
This is the back of the building. The Capital dome is being worked on and there is construction all around it but it is still fun to photograph.
This is one of the warmer summers in recent memory. I took this on Chestnut Plaza by the river. I usually point my camera in the other direction and photograph the river but I like the way the water fountains frame the Cathedral.
