If a homeowner suggests a particular shot I always take it and usually like the result.
I recently read this article on how to take architectural type photos and the author included a bunch of before and after type pictures. The after pictures were a little better than the before but in every case a wide angle lens was used and it was not kept level. It was like this shot all distorted. I sometimes do this on purpose like I did in this picture but at least I know that I didn’t do it right . . which I rarely do. 🙂 Anyone that isn’t at least aware of converging vertices probably should not be teaching photography to others.
This building is fairly new and is one of many new buildings on the United and Children’s hospital campus.
The campuses of United and Children’s hospital, in St. Paul have really grown over the years. It seems like there is always construction going on. The buildings are gorgeous. I need to take more pictures of them.
My apologies to the man sitting at the picnic table. Next time I will look before I shoot.
