I took several photos of the Split Rock lighthouse. The lighthouse is on the North shore of lake superior. We were so lucky to have wonderful lighting while we were there.
One of our local treasures and also a national shrine. Opened in 1915 but I believe they started building it in 07. I have photographed this so many times . .
The arches of the stone arch bridge on the Mississippi river in Minneapolis and no I am not going to edit out the wires. I live in the city and we have wires.
I took several pictures of the Cathedral from different angles when it was all lit up on Friday night. I like this angle the best. The church looks so much smaller when it is photographed from the front.
I put this little fish eye lens on my camera before I went out to play. The photos are not very sharp around the edges but I have fun with it away. The Lauer flats building is on the national register of historic places. As I recall it was built by brothers who were stone masons. They built it in the 1880’s. The insides of most of the units look kind of 1980 . . but what the heck some day that will be historic too.
I usually don’t post two photographs of the same thing but why not? The TCF stadium is located on the University of Minnesota campus.
