51 S Avon Street
I love this building. There are condos inside and I have been inside. I processed this using Photomatix and I used the “surreal” setting for lighting affects. Can of fun to play with when I don’t need the shots for property marketing. next time I am going to see what I get with surreal+ it has to be even better than surreal, no?
Well Fargo Building -downtown St. PaulÂ
I had fun with the HDR processing on this one. I will probably get some more like it before the holidays are over. It is easy to find trees like these in most any mall. I enjoy the holiday season a little less each year. I would like to celebrate it differently. For me the perfect holiday would be on a beach some place with a cold drink and my camera.
Broken glass and barbed wire. I want to go inside but I probably won’t.
This was taken from the bike path in Swede Hallow Park. Back when this was an active brewery the people who worked in it lived down in the gully and the brewery and the Hamm’s family work up above on the hill. Phalen creek flows through Swede Hallow and the neighborhood that used to along the creek is long gone.
Things have not changed all that much except these days the worker bees that have homes have indoor plumbing because it is the law.
I usually don’t post two photographs of the same thing but why not? The TCF stadium is located on the University of Minnesota campus.
Behind the wheel
We took a little field trip last weekend to Hot Sam’s antiques. I always enjoy it because there are so many things to photograph. I love the colors and the rust and exploring the grounds looking for treasures. They accept donations which is a good thing because I won’t buy stuff. I I want less stuff not more.
When I look at these old trucks I can not help but notice how much safer cars are today. The dashboards are softer and there no metal knobs sticking out. Not to mention the lack of airbags and safety glass.
