My hamburger is famous. It is on the menues at burger Moes on West 7th and it is on a bus bench on 7th street. I took the picture for Moe shortly after he opened a couple of years ago. So if you see this burger it is mine. I ate it shortly after I took the picture.
I have not had much time for recreational photography during the last few months ad I have been photographing everything from hamburgers to medical clinics. I am just learning how to photograph food. Close ups seem to work the best and less food in the photograph looks better than more food. I guess that sums up everything I know about food photography.
I wish I could show how hot this stuff is. 🙂
Beignets at the Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans. They are served warn and are heavenly. The beignet is a square piece of dough, fried and covered with powdered sugar. It isn’t a good place to bring a camera, by the time we were finished my lens had a coating of powdered sugar on it. 🙂
A big part of the state fair is about food. I didn’t eat much when I went and to be honest there are some things that a grown up probably should not eat. The fair features just about anything on a stick, and if memory serves the corn dog was the first food on a stick. I ate a foot long hot dog, they are very good. Some caramel apples in a dish with ice cream. (heavenly) On the way out I just had to have a snow cone. I did not feel all that great the next day but I sure enjoyed it while I was there.
I wrote about the new Burger Moe’s and promised to report back.Located at 242 West 7th Street St. Paul, MN. We went for the grand opening which Moe called a “soft opening” The Patio is amazing and so is the food and service. A wonderful Patio and the burgers are on bakery buns. It doesn’t get any better.
