Foxglove, also knows as digitalis does not grow inside except at Como Conservatory where there is some blooming right now. It is so pretty.
No matter how busy I am in the spring I like to watch the flower baskets being hung. It may be unbearably cold here in January, but it is also almost unbearably beautiful in June.
This is from the artists event at Marjorie McNeely Conservatory. Yesterday I showed everyone lined up and photographing this amazing room full of poinsettias. The roof is covered with snow which makes for less than perfect lighting but we can still make it work.
The annual December artists event at Marjorie McNeely Conservatory. They let photographers and other artists in at 8:00 AM, and we can bring tripods and easels and just generally be obnoxious. They charge $5 and it is worth every penny.
These are the photographers lining up and photographing a room filled with flowers with no people in the shot. There was a smaller turn out this year because of the cold and snow.
I attempted to do a little yard work last night and here is the result.
These beautiful wildflowers are in full bloom and can be found near and in wetlands in Minnesota. I found clumps of them blooming alone the Vento trail near lake Phalen.
