It has not rained much during the last couple of months so I really enjoyed the rainy weather earlier this week and took advantage of the photo ops.
It rains most every day. The forecast calls for rain. The extended forecast calls for rain and cold. Did I mention it is cold too?
The rose bush is blooming in the park, and the bees are happy.
I took this on Thursday when it rained most of the day. It is the hanging basket of flowers on my front porch. I took the picture with one of my favorite lenses my 50mm prime lens. If you don’t have one, they are very inexpensive as far as lenses go and are made for several models of camera 🙂
It would look even better if I had taken the photo later in the day.
Used to know the name of this plant. It kind of looks like a bottle brush. They are in bloom right now at Como conservatory. I went hoping to see foxglove blooming but it doesn’t look like they planted any this year which give me the perfect excuse to go back next year. The sites and smells are amazing.
