On of my favorite things to do is watch the big boats come into the Duluth Harbor on lake Superior. I got this with my phone while I was out walking one morning.
Taken the day after labor day. Apparently the crowds that were out the day before had to go to work. I have taken many photos of this area and I am not done yet.
The sunset wasn’t all that interesting but the lake was so quiet and that was interesting. Being outside sitting on a bench by the lake on a warm September evening was perfect.
When a boat comes into the Duluth harbor it almost always draws a crowd, especially on a beautiful Sunday evening in late September.
The Blue Heron from the University of Minnesota at Duluth headed for the harbor. . . .did I mention it was a gloomy day?
Always a challenge to photograph a moving ship in the dark and time the shot so that the light house is lit. Yes for me this is a great photographic achievment.
