I have not had a lot of time for photography so a I went on appointements over the weekend I took some snap shots here and there.   This shop caught my eye it always does.  Photo was taken with a phone and edited on an iPad.

Peeps

Yes I am kidding.  I stopped by the “peeps” store at the Mall of America on Wednesday.  Seriously I did not know there was such a place.  I told them about my peeps group on Flickr and they let me take pictures . . not of the flicker group but of the peeps in the peep store.

Christmas Sweaters

I am not sure how these hid from me.  I found five of them and I have not worn any of them in years.  A friend tells me that people will buy these and wear them to ugly Christmas sweater parties.

I took the pictures with my phone and edited them on an iPad, I just wanted to have something to remember them by.

Well Fargo Building -downtown St. Paul

I had fun with the HDR processing on this one.  I will probably get some more like it before the holidays are over.  It is easy to find trees like these in most any mall.  I enjoy the holiday season a little less each year.  I would like to celebrate it differently.  For me the perfect holiday would be on a beach some place with a cold drink and my camera.

Oak Leaves

It snowed over the weekend.  The oak trees still have leaves on them and I am not ready for winter.

Haight Ashbury

Taken at Hot Sam’s antiques near Lakeville Minnesota.  They did a little staging with this old van. On the other side of it there is a table and some chairs.  I have been to Haight and Ashbury I think it was the 25th anniversary of the summer of love.

Fall in the park

I did not get to take a vacation this year.  I did not even get to go up to the North Shore which is why I really appreciate the wonderful fall weather we have been having.  It is like a second summer except without the humidity.

History on Brick

This building has changed hands a few times.  It looks like it was built in the early 1900′s and it changed with the neighborhood.  There were some 3M plants across the street and that isn’t all.   The neighborhood changed and so did we.  Next time I drive by the building may be gone and this picture will be the only thing left behind.
