The plane was a bonus. I was trying to get some fall color in yet another picture of St. Paul taken from Indian Mounds park which by the way is a great spot to take twilight, sunset and nigh time photos from.
Nice to see so many flowers out in front of the stores. It makes them all look so inviting and it helps us forget that the sidewalks are covered with snow nine months out of the year. 🙂
Probably not suitable for framing but it I get a little free time this weekend I know where and what I am going to photograph. 🙂 This is downtown St. Paul taken from a river bluff but if you look to the right in the picture those blue rectangles are building in downtown Minneapolis. The cities are not really twins but they are close together.
This is a busy time of year in St. Paul. The high school hockey tournament and the basket ball tournament and other sports. Makes me wonder when they have time to study. Today we have state high school wrestling and tomorrow there is a Minnesota Wild game.
Located on 7th street in St. Paul across the street from Mickey’s Diner. Both are local landmarks that I need to photograph at lease once a year because I do. There are several church steeples in the downtown area but these are the most impressive. I used a wide angle lens to take the photo and then cropped it.
Taken from Indian Mounds Park looking at the Mississippi River and downtown St. Paul. The flowers are milkweed which are in full bloom now.
