Minneapolis is flat. In fact I think that is why biking is so popular. St. Paul is hilly an biking is more work but St. Paulites are tough. The buildings in the background kind of look like a mountain. A man made mountain.
Downtown Minneapolis is always photogenic. I need to go there more often. The bikes are just out side the Hennepin County Government Center.
San Fransisco – so much to see. Don’t forget to look up.
Taken on an ordinary cold damp day. I really do love Lowertown. It is the lowest part of downtown, and it also has some of the most interesting buildings in the city and is the most walkable neighborhood in St. Paul.
Downtown St. Paul. Kind of a fun view but it took me awhile to orient myself.
The lovely Pioneer building which is currently being renovated. I need to figure out where I can stand so that I can get more of the building in the picture. Not always easy downtown which is why sometimes I settle for looking up. If you click on the photo to make it bigger you can see some of the wonderful details of this 1880’s building.
