I took this a couple of years ago but rediscovered it last weekend when I was cleaning up that was created when my blog was hacked last fall. If you have never seen the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA move it to the top of your bucket list and go this year. 🙂
The days are shorter now and when I go on my evening walk or bike ride I get to see the sunset and I have to be careful when I ride through the woods because the deer and wild turkey like to use the bike paths in the evening. It really is a beautiful time of year. This shot was taken near the Robert street bridge.
My bad old blog seems to be OK now but a family emergency has made it hard for me to post my pictures. We went to Duluth last week. Seems like a month ago now. The bridge in the picture is a favorite of mine. The duluth lift bridge and the streak on the right is a vista cruiser coming in off the lake and returning to the harbor. If you have never seen lake Superior put it on your bucket list as one of the most gorgeous places that you just have to see.
The underside of the Ford Parkway bridge over the Mississippi river between St. paul and Minneapolis.
This is the famous stone arch bridge in Minneapolis. If you look over the sides there is a magnificent view of St. Anthony falls. On a nice day the bridge if full of walkers, joggers, people on bikes, roller blades and even segways. The bridge is long and wide and has designated bike lanes. One of the best ways to photograph it is at night at river level. I have not done that yet. 🙂
St. Paul is so bikable. Â From downtown it is a quick ride across the Wabasha bridge to Harriet Island, Raspberry Island and onto Lilydale regional park The view from the bridge is spectacular no matter which way you look.
