Taken down on the docs on a beautiful fall evening. I am looking forward to the re-lighting of the “1” on the first bank building.

Boats
I have not had much time for photography as I have been working 12 to 16 hours a day seven days a week for the past couple of weeks. I think I am getting rusty. I took a bunch of blurry night shots last weekend. I am going to spend some quality time this weekend with my camera practicing.
The boats are parked on Harriet Island. If you have not taken a padleford cruise in the Mississippi what are you waiting for?
Transportation
Tow boats docked at the Port of Saint Paul with the Robert street bridge in the background. I must have a zillion photographs like these because they are so easy to take along the Samual Morgan bike trail, which goes along the river from highway 61 to 35E along Warner and Shepard roads.

sunset on the Mississippi River
I know what I was trying for when I took this picture and this isn’t it which is why I don’t like the picture but it is kind of interesting so I post it anyway and can always try again. The river is fun to photograph when it is quiet and the paddle boats are always fun to photograph. I am going to try and get some close up shots of them on the river this summer. They are also fun to take pictures from and I have not done that since 2009 I think. There are cruises every day check out Paddleford Riverboat Cruises

Paddle Boats
The paddle boars are parked along Harriet Island and ready to go. These boats are used for tours most every day. There are dinner cruises and short sight seeing type tours. Check it out at Riverrides.com
