The paddle boats stay in the river all winter.

Boats and bikes look good in most any photograph. This boat is one of the Padleford boats that take passengers on tours of the Mississippi River. it is parked at Harriet Island which is where the tours begin and they have a big parking lot.

loaded wit people taking pictures as it heads past the old power plant as it heads West from St. Paul. The Mississippi River general runs North and South except for the places it runs East and West.

The Clyde Butcher
On my way to find some photos that a client requested I found some photos that I never processed. This one is of the Clyde Butcher a tow boat in front of the Comcast Building on the Mississippi River right across from downtown St. Paul. It was taken in May of 2011 and I like the clouds and the lighting which is probably why I took the picture.
