Sunlight on maple leaves. A common sight for about two days. 🙂
I took this picture a year ago on a beautiful fall day. The brown object in the left corner is a hat on someone’s head. At least it isn’t blaze orange. The water on the horizon is lake Superior. There isn’t much time left this year for fall photography in Minnesota but we will have lots of sun and warmer weather in the metro area and the leaves are almost at peak.
Facing South and headed over the Mississippi River. The Robert street bridge has been spanning the rive since 1926.
I took this from the bike trail along the Mississippi River East of downtown St. Paul. You can see downtown along the horizon. There were a few boats getting ready to push some barges around.
This photo was taken at Indian mounds park on October 18, 2014. Peak color usually happens around the 15th of October in the Twin Cities area. it is easy to miss as the weather can be cold and rainy. Right now the colors are most photogenic.
Taken over lake Superior. I always consider myself fortunate if the sunrise isn’t obscured by clouds.
