Most of downtown St. Paul is on district heating. They are getting their heat piped in from the district heating plant. There are still boiler rooms but most are not operational and some buildings don’t have them at all. It is a strange thing to want to photography but . . . . I want to photograph them so when I can I do. One of my recent boiler photos is now framed and hangs in an office. I guess I am not the only one who can appreciate a picture of a boiler.

I started a blog a few years ago and have written thousands of words, and taken thousands of pictures to go with those words. If I could start all over again the blog would be just pictures because each picture is worth a thousand words and I don't have to worry about spelling them correctly. I love industrial shots of just about all kinds. Old equipment, rusty stuff, you name it. This is cool.
