I took this shot for one of my light rail transit construction updates. The project is more than half complete but there is still a lot of St. Paul that is torn up. I will be getting some photos of 10th downtown this week.

If you are a regular here at St. Paul photos you have seen this shot several times but it isn’t the same picture it is one that I keep taking. I have shared this location with others. It is just off of Livingston Ave. near Filmore Street which is what Water street becomes East of Wabasha. There are some office buildings and behind them is this wonderful park with benches and walkways. I like to bike along the river to Raspberry Island and then onto the other parks along the river. It has been awhile since I have photographed this at night . . . stay tuned. The bridge to the right is the Robert Street bridge.

I started my bike ride down a Plato blvd the other evening. I rode down to the river and then along the paths to Raspberry Island. I circled the Island and then went on to Harriet Island and circled that and then onto Lilydale regional park and Pickerel lake. Not a very long ride but it took awhile because I may have stopped for some pictures along the way.

I have more pictures of this park than any other because it is where I most often walk the dog and she likes walks. I either head East down the path and cross the road at the science museum and walk the grounds for a short mile and a half walk or I head west and walk to Randolph avenue and then back home which is a 3.5 miles walk. I have also headed east on my bike and ridden to Battle Creek regional park. The path ends near the park which is about five miles from where I took this shot. I really like out parks and the river. Tonight I will be at the great river gathering which is a dinner at the RiverCenter downtown. My photography will be featured throughout the dinner so if you see me please say hi.
