Lowertown Bike shop

Lowertown Bike shop in downtown St. Paul on E. 4th street in the JAX building.  They are they fix bikes and I should take my bike there for fixing.

My cat

Not really a trick but she knows that if she gets in between me and the computer screen she will get some attention.  Animals are fun to photograph and they never complain about the picture making them look old or fat or dumb.

Kitty

She won’t drink out of a bowl just from the faucet and when I turn on a faucet she comes running.  BAD KITTY!

Jelly Beans

Jelly beans don’t have anything to do with leap year.  They are bright and colorful and fun to photograph.  I like to think of leap year as an extra day.  What are you going to do with your extra day?

I am always attracted to the shiny objects.  I have been working with some musicians.  They play while I shoot them. Does it get any better?

My apologies for the slowness of this site the last couple of weeks. I disabled a plugin so that I could fix something and forgot to enable it again.  I use W3 Total Cache.

Frozen Flash mob

The mall of America is a fun place to take pictures.  This were taken during a kind of experiment I photographed for a friend.  The people in it were suppose to freeze like statues which they did.  Makes them easy to shoot.

Making Music

Experimenting with some camera settings and that 50mm prime lens that I love so much. I used it to take the picture of my dog yesterday too.   I have been using it a lot lately, it has been on my camera most of the time.   This shot was taken in low light at about 1000 ISO is I recall.  The white sheet music gave off a little light but not much.

Daisy

Dogs have such expressive faces and my dog is a photographer too.

Chapel

Not sure which I love more the tree or the steeple.  This was taken at Our Lady of Victory chapel on the campus of St. Catherine’s university.  I went to school there a life time ago when it was the college of St. Catherine.  Some of my friends were married in the chapel which is more like a church. .

Marcella

We attended an event on Saturday.  She was the videographer and I was the photographer.  The lighting was amazingly bad.  I had a light but the darkness and vastness of the room kind of sucked it away.  Marcella let me us her for target practice.
