Peeps

Yes I am kidding.  I stopped by the “peeps” store at the Mall of America on Wednesday.  Seriously I did not know there was such a place.  I told them about my peeps group on Flickr and they let me take pictures . . not of the flicker group but of the peeps in the peep store.

Skating Downtown St. Paul

Public skating at the Landmark Center in downtown St. Paul.  I love to skate but I don’t like to be cold.   I think I learned to skate before I learned to walk.

Chicago Valve

I made an entire calendar of valves for  2012 and people bought them. Now I need to decide if I should use the same photos for 2013 or if I should try to get 12 more  This is one of my favorites.  Valves are everywhere.  I call them urban hardware.

Ornaments

I like to put away the holiday decorations on New Years day.  I am almost done.  The ornament in the front is from the year 2000.  I photographed the ornaments because the world is going to end before next Christmas and this will be our last Christmas and our last new years day for that matter.  lets make the most of it.

Red Chairs

If it is red photograph it.   I love the retro chairs I must find more to photograph.

Ghosts

I took this last year in Rice Park during the evening rush hour.   People were moving around and so were the ghosts, or at least they look like ghosts when the shutter speed is slow and they are walking fast.  Do you see anyone you recognize in this photo?   Merry Christmas to all.

Beach

The beach is such a peaceful place early in the morning.  This picture is keeping me warm today.

Coffee Shop

I do not remember the name of this coffee shop.   It is near Como park in St. Paul, MN so I if you know the name leave it in the comments.  I spend a fair amount of time in coffee shops but not in this one.

My Neighbor

A neighbor and I happened to be carrying my camera.  Who could resist?  It isn’t every day you see a little girl in a purple dress sitting by a tree coloring.
