I think I meant to focus on the yellow flowers but then the wind blew.
I know it is still summer because the thistle is still blooming. In the fall it turns brown and sticks to my sweaters.

These flowers are so amazing and they can be seen for free in Como Park. They will be around for a few more weeks but you should go soon and see them just in case.
I never knew my maternal grandfather but I am told he was quite the gardener. They lived in a small house not far from my own and my grandfather always grew zinnias and so do I.
