<p>Like everything else this year the lily of the  valley are blooming early and they are almost done.  I have never been able to get a good photograph of the plant but that doesn&#8217;t mean I am going to give up.  I don&#8217;t usually publish my mistakes but I have to if I want to use a picture of lily of the valley.   The flowers are very small and white.  Maybe next year . .</p>

<p>It was windy most every day last week.  Usually I can photographs of flowers if I take them at a high shutter speed which is what I did or this picture.  There was a lot of wind and I can of like the effect and I love lilacs.   My children gave me lilac bushes or mothers day many years ago and now the oldest of them is about 15 feet high.</p>

<p>I had to take a picture of these blooming in the park because roses don&#8217;t bloom in April in this part of Minnesota yet here they are.  beautiful but freaky.  We had some snow on Monday which is more normal for this time of year than a rose bush in full bloom.</p>
