Near Pickerel Lake in Lilydale regional park. A fun place to walk, or bike. It would be a great place for nature photography. The duck in the picture is trying to hide.
I enjoy walking because it slows everything down and I see things I wouldn’t notice. It is the window washing season.
I love the smell. it looks like a weed and maybe it is but it is a nice smelling weed and it is native to the area.
I managed to photograph some peonies during Sunday’s 20+ MPH winds by using a faster shutter speed. The flowers are a favorite of mine. My mom and my grandmother grew them and I grow them too. As a small child, I used to see ants crawls in the blossoms and on the buds and I believed that ants came from the flowers.
I walk a lot. It is so strange to walk past rice Park and look through the chain link fence to see empty park benches. People without homes used to congregate there and socialize too. Now they have one less place to be.
Yes another flower picture with my house in the background.
