About
My official bio, sort of I guess. I live in St. Paul Minnesota and am the author of the StPaulRealEstateBlog.com. It is that blog that got interested in photography. I post a photo with each article and people respond to them. After a few years I ended up with a lot of photos and over time I got better at taking them. I probably got better at blogging and writing too. I rarely leave the house without a camera and I am always looking for pictures and for topics for blog posts. It is fun to photograph what I see every day because it forces me to notice and appreciate the beauty of St. Paul Minnesota.
In 2007 I started a mobile blog, AllTallDay where I shoot random pictures with my phone and upload them to the internet. It is kind of like a journal of my travels and my days. I like to travel and one of my favorite activities when I travel is taking pictures at night. Night shots are my favorite even when I am at home.
Flickr is my favorite web site. I am not sure how many groups I belong to but I enjoy them all. I go on photo walks with the “flickerites” when I can.
I am married, with two 20 something children, a cat and a dog. We live in a house that was built in the 1850′s and is located on the river bluff of the Mississippi River near downtown in St. Paul Minnesota. I am a Realtor®, and a licensed Minnesota real estate broker and am always more than happy to sell a home and I have to say it is my business that has given me so many opportunities to learn photography. Pictures sell real estate. In addition to taking photos for my own listings I take them for other agents and sometimes I am asked to photograph businesses. How a home for sale or a business looks on the internet makes all the difference.
I live on the internet, but I have a phone too: 651-216-4603 – call at your own risk if you want to sell me something, I am very rude to telemarketers.
Please don’t swipe my photos. They are mine and I am usually happy to share but you have to ask. If you need a print contact me. They are also available through Picture Perfect Art and Frame.
