I took this at the window during an event I attended yesterday. I left early and I keep thinking about all the people who attended and wonder if they made it home alright. For me, it was a grueling white knuckle kind of drive. It has been many years since i have driven in a storm like that.
I remember drives like that. I remember in Minneapolis, when I was a young man, coming up to a stop sign and pressing the brake and NOTHING happened and I sailed right through a busy intersection and the stop sign and for some reason I hit nothing and nobody hit me. When I finally got stopped I was shaking so badly I had to sit and focus for several minutes.
Glad that you made it home safely. Things will warm up and melt the snow soon, right?
It should melt quickly but more is on the way. Snow in mid April is not unusual but getting more than a foot of it in one storm is.
