Mississippi River

The second flood

Mississippi River

Mississippi River September 2010

The Mississippi River is at flood stage for the second time this year in St. Paul, MN. It will crest in a few days and may get as high as it did last spring. A flood of this magnitude in the spring is fairly rare and almost unheard of in the fall. It was caused by heavy rains last week that caused flooding through out the state. The rivers that feed the Mississippi brought the water right to St. Paul.
