It took four years from the time we decided that we needed a new playgournd beofre this playground became a reality. I have been on the board of directors of the West 7th Community Center for so long now that part of my job is to be what we call the institutional memory. I digress. I took some shots of the playground shortly after it was completed but they were not very good because there were no children in them. I like this one best.

Very nice photo…Makes me think of the children all over the world…Some fortunate ones can at least play, while others sadly need to work to…make our clothes! Sorry, Teresa, can’t help thinking of a documentary shown recently on SVT (Swedish TV) which touched the issue of child labour, a disgrace for our so-called ‘modern society’…
All children should have the right to play!
