Lilac
A mothers day gift from 1992 I think. I can see them from the kitchen window. When I look at them I also see the picture in my memory of two little children planting it for me.

I can smell them thru the monitor. I love lilacs, but it is too hot in the south for them. We do have a ‘relative’, the crepe myrtle, but they do not have the wonderful, sweet scent.
The smell is every where today I just wished they lasted longer.
