I got this one early Sunday morning on Raspberry Island. One of the visitors to this blog likes shot details so I thought I would give him some. This shot is processed using HDR and I used four bracketed shots. I have no idea why I used four so don’t ask. I have had trouble in the past using HDR with night shots so this is a break through for me.
F-Stop 9.5, ISO 200, Focal Length 12.0. I used a wide angle lens and all of my shots are taken in Manual mode.

That’s an awesome, award winning photo! Bravo! Someday when I grow up, I’ll take a photo like that one!

Leif – I guess you like my photo.
please don’t grow up. I know I never will.
Awsome work! Well now you have me curious how you got such spectacular results at the wee hours. I have found night photography and HDR don’t mix.

Rob – I have had little luck with night HDR shots. It does help if it is a bit lighter out and if I can shoot at higher shutter speeds and if bracketing 1/2 stops are best. With my camera an ISO of no higher than 200.
